We were thrilled to learn that following the election of the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector for the period 2023-2025 in the past weeks, in a meeting of the Council, Ms Gertrude Buttigieg from the Malta Health Network was selected as Chairperson and Mr Jorge Spiteri from the MaYA Foundation as Deputy Chairperson.
The Chief Executive of the Council, Mr Mauro Pace Parascandalo, conveyed his best wishes and looked forward to their good work in support of the sector.
The Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector aims at supporting local voluntary organisations working across every aspect of society through networking, training, capacity building, funding initiatives and awareness raising.
We wish both Gertrude and Jorge all the very best in their new roles!
