On Tuesday the 4th of January 2022, representatives from the Malta Youth in Agriculture Foundation and Għaqda Bdiewa Attivi met His Excellency the President of Malta, Dr. George Vella.
The scope of the meeting was to discuss the current situation of agriculture in Malta with particular reference to land use issues currently afflicting the sector. During this cordial meeting, a common sentiment about the need to ensure local food production, the landscape, and the rural community was shared.
